As I mentioned previously, I have taken a new job, so forgive me if it seems like I haven't cared about you for the last two months. That is only partially true. I love you more in the summer.

You have taken to responding in English when your mother speaks to you in Spanish, which I assume was going to happen given that the lingua franca of the household is English, except where you are concerned.
Mummy: "Diga adios, Kilian."
You: "Seeyou!" [Note that that is one word for you. Lessons on word contractions to come at a later day.]
You have learned how to close doors fully, and this isn't an issue except when things happen as they did this morning: you locked yourself in your room and started crying. We may need to tether you in the middle of the living room.
You have, mostly, ceased your bout of hitting people to express displeasure, and we got you over that by not paying attention to you when you hit. Beforehand, we would freak out, and I think you liked the attention. Where is that issue of Parenting magazine when you need it?
You can walk outside in your winter boots, and you seem to be over the nasty throat cold that you caught from me, and Spring is around the corner.
