We took you to London so that we could all see family and because, uh, well, tickets were cheap.
We were able to see Grandmother Nana, Auntie Derin, Uncle Joe, and Uncle Aziz in addition to the Bettmans, Crazy Henry and Pringle, Aunt Nola, Desiree and Karen, and Uncle Martin, amongst others.
You were really well behaved flying back all day on the plane (really, you were a godsend.)
On the flight out, Pops forgot his passport at work, so you had to travel alone with Mummy, and she and you also did well.
You were sort of out of sorts with the time change, however, and you lost weight as a result.
But we are back to normal at home.
Pops and his posting have been erratic of late because he left working at Comcast to take a job in Manhattan at MTV. I can now spend more time with you and less time on the federally-subsidized disaster that is Amtrak (the US rail system.)
