Your new/old nanny Nancy took you to the park with Mummy and put you into the swing (video) on the right. You giggled like a madman. Our good friend Andy came to visit from Berkeley, CA, where he teaches Architectural History, and he gave Mummy and I a better backgrounder on origins of your middle name. Mies van der Rohe was the father of modernism in architecture, as well as a teacher at the Bauhaus school of design and architecture in Berlin. He is responsible for the Seagram building in New York, and numerous simple, clean skyscrapers in Chicago.
Your hair, which your mother will not let me cut, is not Miesian.
