Back in the flow of things
The flight back from London was sort of brutal because it was 1. seven hours long and 2. during daylight hours.
So when we got home, you could be forgiven for not knowing which was way was up. (Or, horizontal for that matter, since you have stubbornly refused to begin walking even though I have commanded you to do so.)
Mummy finally got you sorted as of last night, the first time that you slept through the night in a while. Pops realizes that he is inviting the wrath of the "Baby-Don't-Sleep" demons even mentioning the fact, so we will move on.
The Onis came over on Sunday to sample some Nigerian food that came back with us, and your Real Aunties Ayisha and Jaylaan came by as well.
Your Ahna Nafeesa was visiting because your Great Grandfather Abdullah passed away last week. He knew about you and loved you.
And on an up-note: you have a new Godmother! Fake Auntie Michelle is now Real Godmother Michelle. So when you get too big for your britches, we know where to send you for "quiet time."
