And so the weaning process begins . . .

Can I just tell you how excited I was leading up to this moment! I was beside myself with joy and anticipation that you are now becoming a big boy... literally clapping and clasping my hands with glee and telling all who'd listen that we are starting SOLIDS! Seriously, I was more excited than your Daddy is for Monday night football!!!

Mummy began feeding you with solid food this week, and what a big deal that is, because it means (yes you guessed it) that you will sleep longer. Sleep, or, specifically, you sleeping, is a good thing. You won't remember this when you are older, but I want to get it down for posterity.
You get a mix of dry cereal mixed with milk packaged from the Nigirish Milk Foundation (that would be your mother, man) and you seem to keep the bulk of it inside of your mouth.

Your four month birthday.

Roxana helps out

We can wait, I suppose.
Grandmum Elsie called to wish you a very happy birthday (proving the first sentence in this post true, of course.) Pops was missing you, as he traveled to London for three days. On the overnight flight to London (one of your many homelands,) he sat next to a one-year Nigerian girl (Nigeria is also one of your homelands). Needless to say, you will not be traveling on the plane when you are one, because one year olds don't seem to understand that dark lights and big design people under blankets signifies "sleep time." Jury closed.
