Linguistic compliance.
You spoke your first articulate word today.
Now, you have been making stabs at saying "Klaire" (kawr), "baile" (baiwa; "dance" in Spanish) and some other stuff that I can't discern.
But, on Aug. 16th, 2006, in your fourteenth month, your mother and I walked in the house, and you were in your Nancy's arms, and you said one word very distinctly:
"Hola!"
And I didn't think anything of it at first, and then Mummy said "he said 'hello' to us."
Everybody's baby talks at some point of course, but this and your walking continue to amaze us.
