Visiting your other motherland.
That would be the San Francisco Bay Area, A*K*A the Yay Area, B*K*A Oaktown. (It is where Pops grew up.) Your mother and I have a debate about where you come from. You can legitimately claim your ancestry, but in the US, you are a New Yorker, since that is where you were born, and where you will probably grow up. Mummy believes that you are a Californian because that is where I came from, but at the same time you are Nigerian, because that is where she came from. It is all sort of unclear.
Nonetheless, we took you to California for the first time so that you could see your Aunties and Uncles who live on that coast. You also got to see Godmother Michelle, since we stayed at her house and woke her up at 7am every morning. You also got to see Grandmom Nafeesa (Ahna) and Grandad Curtis (Papa-san.)
Your top two teeth are coming in, and you slobber a lot, but that is to be expected. I remember doing that very thing.

Oh La! La! La! for me the long awaited one. All three of you together. I got so used to seeing just Master K a lot and then Master K with either of his parents, and now-wow! wow! I see all three together. Give us a few more of that says Nana!!! Hey Mum KC, you sure look smashing in that very springy/summery dress and Papa Ty, you do look very very handsome son. I sure dig you and happy to know that we are family!! and as for you Master K, well what can a biased Nana say? You are just gorgeous grandson. I love youuuuu!!!! Look forward to seeing you soon!
