You didn't really come down the chimney or anything . . .
You were dressed to EVOKE the season, not to represent Kris Kringle in the house. You got several top-shelf gifts from various well-wishers, and we were hosted by Auntie Agnes out in Southampton, New York, two hours east of home.
We went to the doctor right before we left, and she said that you are exactly average for your height, but your weight is a little low, probably because you have Mummy's sparrow-like metabolism. You also got a polio immunization shot. This is different than a polo immunization shot in many ways.
We travel to London and then Lagos tomorrow, so that you can meet your Grandad and spend some time with Mamina Nana, and all of your Nigerian-Irish Real Aunts, Uncles and cousins (Zoë, Juju, Nire, and Ally-pally).
Pops hasn't been to that part of Africa since 1994, and Mummy hasn't been there in about six years.
